Accounts - Closure Dates
The closure dates section on the system allows you to add dates to the system when your childcare setting will be closed, this feature is useful when you charge parents a different rate to when the setting is open.
To add a date or a date range for when the setting is closed, simply enter the first day and the last day that the setting will be closed, if the setting is only closed for one day you do not need to add an end date.
Within the general accounts setup section and each child's individual accounts settings you have a standard Rate 1 to Rate 5 hourly rate, and beneath this you have the same rates displayed where you can add the rate you will charge the parents when the setting is closed, this can be a £0.00 value or any value of your choosing.
When you create an invoice for a child, the dates the setting will be closed are clearly displayed within the calendar, and your applicable closed rate will be applied to those closed days.
